Brief Description:

**Important Notice** San Carlos Flight Center is temporarily moving its seminars from in-person attendance to online viewing due to the public health risk from the Coronovirus. This seminar as of the month of march is scheduled to be a livestream, however, if conditions improve it will be changed to an in-person seminar. Stay tuned. As a courtesy, the center is making this streaming service free to the public at https://sancarlosflight.com/covid-19/seminars

We as bay area pilots are lucky as we get to experience the beauty of the bay through the Bay Tour.  However, did you ever want to change your Bay Tour and “spice it up” a bit?  Looking to treat your friends and family to a different kind of Bay Tour?  Come join and learn from a Geologist how to fly the best bay tour of your life.

San Carlos Flight Center invites Wendy Kordesch a Bay Area Geologist to talk with pilots on how they can amuse their passengers on a more interesting bay tour.  In this seminar Wendy will show pilots how to fly along the San Andreas fault, identify amazing geological features hiding in plain sight, fly along the most pristine waterways and coastline, and entertain your passengers with the rich history of the bays geography. Also learn how to protect our pristine natural environment by flying safely over nature's most immaculate places.

We invite all pilots to attend as this is truly a unique opportunity to learn more about the Bay’s most prestigious landmarks to highlight on your next bay tour.

Wendy Kordesch is Outreach Specialist at the Seabird Protection Network, and builds partnerships with pilots to help wildlife thrive on our coasts. She holds a PhD in Ocean Science and has presented to dozens of pilots clubs across the Bay Area, as well as the US Coast Guard.
