Title:
Monthly Safety Meeting
Topic:
Flying Safely and Efficiently in En Route Airspace
Date and Time:
Wednesday, April 8, 2020, starting at 12:00 Central Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Jeff Skarphol (FAASTeam Representative, instrument rated pilot, Air Traffic Control Specialist and certified instructor)
Brief Description:

The safest Pilots are always in contact with air traffic control (ATC).  We sure appreciate ATC controllers and usually almost always enjoy talking to them -- but what's really going on down there?  We know that they want to help us and keep us safe, but how do they do it and what can we do to help?  Mac McGregor found out when he took a tour of Fort Worth Center and was so impressed that he arranged to have Jeff Skarphol (Fort Worth Center Air Traffic Control Specialist  and  Certified Instructor) come here and present his program entitled "Flying Safely and Efficiently in En Route Airspace."  Wings credit will be awarded to attendees.
