Brief Description:

The Jacksonville FAASTeam are pleased to again welcome Mr. Michael J. Friese. Mr. Friese has a distinguished history as an instructor pilot for Embry-Riddle and pilot for the US Government. His two-hour presentation will detail, in depth, the aerodynamics of high angle of attack flight, speed stable and speed unstable regions, and inertial characteristics of spinning aircraft.  The practical application of this information towards everyday flying will also be discussed, including Stall-Spin accident mitigation methods, and physics (and why) of recovery techniques.   Following this presentation, Robert Kamm from the Jacksonville Approach Control  (TRACON) will present on many topics and a Q&A Session regarding the intricacies of the airspace within its domain.
