Brief Description:

First, we are going to honor Mr. Little Mike Crowell Jr with his Master Mechanic Award! The Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award recognizes aircraft mechanics who have demonstrated professionalism, skill and aviation expertise by maintaining united states aircraft for 50 or more years. Recipients are awarded a certificate and a lapel pin and are recognized in our Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award - Roll of Honor located online, here, at FAASafety.gov!

For information regarding eligibility, how to apply or the selection process, download the Information Guide and Application form. (PDF) If you have additional questions, you can also contact your local FAASTeam Program Manager

The FAA's "WINGS and AMT" Program has been around for decades, yet few people truly understand it, and it's not hard to master!  There is even a sweepstakes for CFI's to reward WINGS achievements!  Come and learn how to meet the requirements of a Flight Review with training tailored to your preferences!   CFI's can learn how to use this program with their students and earn credits for CFI renewal at the same time!  This introduction will show you how the program is structured, how to enroll, select training, and how to earn and request credit toward any Phase of WINGS you are working on!   Pilots and CFI's are strongly encouraged to attend! Mechanics and IA's can earn credit hours as well.
