Please welcome Ms. Catherine Cavagnaro, ATP/CFI and proprietor of Ace Aerobatic School. Join your fellow airmen as Catherine presents emergency and avoidence procedures for situations that can occur at various airspeeds, from stall to Vne.  The seminar will feature videos that help explain the associated aerodynamics.This is one of several Workshop courses offered through AOPA at this eventthat has a cost for the attendee. Please welcome Ms. Catherine Cavagnaro, Professor of Mathematics at the University of the South, located in Sewanee Tennessee. She has served as a spin demonstration pilot for the University of TN Space Institute, and participated in their research and flight testing for icing in flight.  She is also a designated pilot examiner for the Nashville FSDO, the 2018 FAA Safety Representative of the Year and a member of the Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame.

Catherine enjoys finding ways to explain difficult aviation concepts in a fun and entertaining way.  She films inflight videos to make this happen in her presentations.

Early registration here on faasafety.gov is recommended.

Be sure to count this program in your WINGS ground credit. Take a flight course with Catherine and satisfy the entire Basic Phase!
