Please welcome Ms. Catherine Cavagnaro, Professor of Mathematics at the University of the South, located in Sewanee Tennessee. She has served as a spin demonstration pilot for the University of TN Space Institute, and participated in their research and flight testing for icing in flight. She is also a designated pilot examiner for the Nashville FSDO, the 2018 FAA Safety Representative of the Year and a member of the Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame.
Catherine enjoys finding ways to explain difficult aviation concepts in a fun and entertaining way. She films inflight videos to make this happen in her presentations.
