Lt Col Walrod, or "Opus", is an Active Duty Air Force pilot with over 4000 hours in a combination of fighter aircraft, unmanned armed reconnaissance, and commercial aircraft. He currently serves as a member of NORAD's Current Operations division at Peterson AFB in Colorado Springs. One of his duties is to assist in facilitation of the Civil Aviation Education and Training program, which reaches out to General Aviation pilots through venues like this one to raise awareness of Temporary Flight Restrictions and reduce the number of fighter intercepts.

Wings and/or AMT credit is available for attending this seminar. If you are planning to attend, please pre-register at www.faasafety.gov. Pre-registering for the seminars helps us to correctly apply the Wings/AMT credit to your account. The WINGS/AMT credit sheets are available at the "Big Tent".
