Brief Description:

Guest speaker, Patrick Ayd from National Weather Service Bismarck, North Dakota.  The recently launched GOES 16 and 17 weather satellites offer three times the types of imagery, with four times the resolution, available five times faster than previous weather satellites. Best practices will be discussed on how to utilize this significant leap in weather satellite capability to make better flight decisions.
