Title:
FAASTeam Afternoon Safety Seminar
Topic:
Online Resources Available To Pilots & Dangers Of VFR Into IMC
Date and Time:
Saturday, April 27, 2019, starting at 13:00 Central Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Steven R. Hoogerhyde & Virgil A. Lenling
Brief Description:

In today's world of technology there are so many resources available, it can be difficult to figure out which sources are the best for current information.  Come join us as we look at many online websites available for use.

In addition, we will hear from Virgil A. Lenling who will discuss the dangers associated with flying under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) into deteriorating Instrument Metrological Conditions (IMC).  Mr. Lenling has gained many years of valuable instructing as a Certified Flight Instructor, he is also a FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam) Representative.  What better way to learn than from someone who has "been there, done that".

Join us as we present Mr. Lenling the 2018 South Dakota FAASTeam Representative of the Year Award.

Congratulations Virgil !!
