Brief Description:

Daniel Neal of the new San Martin Aviation maintenance facility, located next to Magnum Aviation at San Martin Airport (E16), will talk about things pilots and plane owners can do to keep their flying as safe as possible.

The focus will be on three key topics:

Annual inspections

Preventive maintenance that can make annual inspections go well

Approved and unapproved parts for certified aircraft

Daniel Neal is part-owner, senior mechanic and IA at the new San Martin Aviation repair and maintenance facility at San Martin Airport.  He is an Adjunct Professor at San Jose State University Aviation Management program, where he teaches Aircraft Systems, Propulsion Systems, and Avionics courses. 

Daniel has a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics from San Jose State University, and a Masters in System Management from the University of Southern California.
