The FAA Safety Team would like to acknowledge and thank the Ak Chin Community and the Ak Chin Airport for the use of their facility to conduct this training. Poor communications and maintenance error/omission continues to be a top causal factor in maintenance related aviation accidents. The FAA Safety Team is committed to educating the maintenance population and amateur aircraft builders in an attempt to highlight this cause and mitigate it. If you have questions concerning maintenance communication or human factors issues, there are several free courses on FAASafety.gov that will help educate mechanics and amateur builders and minimize these factors.

A Friendly Message from your FAA Safety Team.
