Brief Description:

This pilot briefing presentation will help pilots determine the airworthiness of an aircraft.  Often times aircraft records are not reviewed before a flight to ensure the required maintenance is properly documented.  Remember, it's the pilot who makes the final determination if an aircraft is in airworthy condition prior to flight.

This briefing is part of the South Dakota Aviation Symposium and will take place at the South Dakota State University (SDSU) Flight School Facility at Brookings Airport.

This annual event is split between five pilot briefings and Inspection Authorization (IA) Renewal Course.  The pilot briefing presentations will all be conducted upstairs, and the complete eight-hour IA renewal course will be conducted downstairs in the maintenance hangar.
