Brief Description:

Advanced Preflight refers to conducting a preflight that goes beyond the normal preflight checklist. This is accomplished by obtaining a valuable maintenance history of the aircraft and developing an additional items checklist. While developing the additional items checklist requires some time, once you have developed the additional items checklist it can be used in conjunction with the aircraft’s preflight checklist for all future preflight inspections Don't miss this exclusive event.  Click the link below and register TODAY!

The IMC Club, through its nationwide chapters, provides organized “hangar flying” focused on building proficiency in instrument flying. Safety and proficiency are developed through education and experience. These monthly meetings use real world scenarios to engage our members and allow them to share and build their experience. You do not have to be instrument rated to attend.

At this meeting, we will introduce attendees to Scenario Based Training.  Scenario Based Training (SBT) uses real-world scenarios as the foundation of the training. Flight maneuvers are still a vital part of flight training, but real-world scenarios are also used to enhance the pilot’s decision making skills. The training presents situations and circumstances that pilots face everyday and translates them into valuable learning experiences.

This training uses a scenario-based approach to training pilots. It emphasizes the development of critical thinking and flight management skills, rather than rely solely on traditional maneuver-based skills. The goal of this training philosophy is the accelerated acquisition of higher-level decision-making skills. Such skills are necessary to prevent pilot-induced accidents. Attend this informative briefing and learn to reduce risk in flight training operations.

AMT/WINGS credit is available for this program. If you wish to receive credit for attending this seminar please pre-register at this site.
