Brief Description:

The Wichita Flight Standards District Office and the Wichita FAAST Team are pleased to sponsor the annual IA renewal/refresher seminar.  Various maintenance topics will be presented.  Registration for the certificate of attendance will commence at 6:30 AM.  Attendees are required to register online with this announcement to reserve a seat.

1. If there is a partial government shutdown extending into Monday February 25th, the 2019 IA renewal seminar will be canceled.  You would then need to make other arrangements to meet renewal requirements. Eight hours of online training is available for free on the FAA FAASTeam website www.FAAsafety.gov.

2. The attachments are best viewed in Google Chrome.

3. Attendees must use the FAA online registration system to attend this event.

4. Registration for proof of attendance begins at 6:30 AM.

5. If you register and cannot attend please cancel your reservation.

6. All attendees will receive AMT credit.

7. For renewal the following are required.

  1. Two completed FAA Form 8610-1s

  2. Signed Pilots Bill of Rights

  3. FAA Form 8310-5 (IA card)

  4. Previous years training certificate(s) (if renewing by training)

  5. Completed IA Activity Training Form (if renewing by activity)
