Brief Description:

The safety of any flight begins with a properly maintained aircraft.  At this seminar, we will learn the many aspects that figure into providing a properly maintained aircraft such as Record Keeping for Mechanics, Care and Maintenance of Lead Acid Batteries, Airworthiness Directive Compliance, Fundamental Electrical Systems, Care and Maintenance of Cleveland Wheels and Brakes, Engine Care and Operation, Care and Maintenance of Classic and Antique Aircraft, and Installation of ADS-B in Jennys to Jets.  Registration starts at 0730; the seminar runs from 0800 to 1700.

This seminar will be held at the Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC), Weyers Cave Campus, Plecker Center, Room 126 B & C.  The Weyers Cave Campus is located halfway between Harrisonburg and Staunton on Interstate 81. Take Exit 235 off Interstate 81. Turn west at the top of the exit ramp (Route 256). In a very short distance, Route 256 terminates in a junction with U.S. Route 11. Turn left (South) on U.S. Route 11. BRCC Weyers Cave Campus is about a half-mile on the left.
