Come join Denny Martens as he reviews so many of the basics every pilot must know.  Instructor Martens is an experienced pilot and certified flight instructor with many years of valuable knowledge.  What better way to learn, than from someone who has "been there, done that".  Denny is also a FAASTeam Representative who was nominated to receive the FAA Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award with an ongoing passion for aviation safety.

This three-hour ground school refresher course will cover:

  • Loss of Control
  • Stall/Spin Awareness
  • Basic Aerodynamics
  • Aircraft Operations
  • Airspace & Requirements
  • Communications
  • Performance Speeds
  • Takeoffs & Landings
  • Traffic Pattern Operations
  • Registration with www.FAASafety.gov

This ground school refresher course can be used to meet the ground knowledge requirement for a flight review in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 61.56.
