Should a Federal Government Shutdown occur, this Safety Seminar WILL BE HELD and hosted by our local FAASTeam Reps.

Geary Keilman is originally from Sacramento, CA where he soloed on his 16th birthday and earned his Private Certificate in high school at age 17.  He obtained his A&P Certificates at Sacramento City College and a degree in Aeronautics from San Jose State University .  He and his wife, Laurie moved to Las Vegas in 1979. They have owned a Cessna 140 and a Beech Bonanza and have been crossing the Sierras for over thirty years.  Geary retired from Delta Airlines after having been a professional pilot for 37 years and holds ATP, Ground Instructor, CFI (exp.) certificates, and has acquired over 25,000 flight hours.  He lectures on astronomy and aviation related topics at libraries, the Spring Mountain and Red Rock Visitor Centers, UNLV and the CSN Planetarium.
