Should a Federal Government Shutdown occur, this safety seminar WILL BE HELD, and hosted by our FAASTeam Reps and Local DPEs.
This CFI/DPE Open Forum is at a new time, 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the North Las Vegas Air Terminal, Grand Canyon Room. Topics are directed toward CFIs, however, all pilots are welcome.
A discussion for CFIs, and those about to become CFIs, regarding How, Why, and What are you teaching when it comes to Safety Risk Management.
Maintaining safety is always a priority in aviation and teaching and evaluating Risk Management with pilots in training can be complicated. We will review the requirements of the ACS/PTS relating to Risk Management and several methods to effectively evaluate Risk Management.
Spend some time with seasoned Instructor Cathy Stockdale and our local Designated Pilot Examiner, Shawn Mullin and find out if what you're teaching is comprehensive and prepares your student not only for the checkride, but for a lifetime of safe flying.
