Title:
Transition Training (Why? When? How?)
Topic:
As pilots we have proven our ability to fly. Why and When do we need Transition Training and How do we get the proper training.
Date and Time:
Saturday, January 19, 2019, starting at 11:00 Eastern Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Mike Windom
Brief Description:

In this one to one and half hour program we will hold a guided group discussion of "Transition Training" and the importance of it for the Safety of Flight.

During the Seminar, we will discuss: Scenarios that are related to the lack of Transition Training; When is Transition Training required; What aircraft require Transition Training and How do we ensure that the Transition Training we receive is adequate and proper for the aircraft to be flown?

The FAASTeam Seminars at KPCM are held in conjunction with EAA Chapter 1178  VMC and IMC Club meetings. This provides organized "Hangar Flying" focused on building a safety consciousness among pilots. Since these seminars are part of the FAA Safety Program, these meetings provide informative presentations along with WINGS credit.

Pilots of all experience levels are welcome, as are non-pilots that are interested in aviation and aviation safety. Membership in an EAA Chapter, or an EAA VMC or IMC Club is not required to participate, but is highly recommended.
