Title:
Conducting a Proper Preflight and the new ACS
Topic:
We will discuss the things to look for and the best way to conduct a proper preflight inspection. An update on the ACS.
Speaker(s):
Henrik Vejlstrup
Brief Description:
Advanced Preflight refers to conducting a preflight that goes beyond the normal preflight checklist.
The Airman Certification Standards (ACS) is basically an 'enhanced' version of the Practical Test Standards (PTS).
The ACS is a better way to integrate pilot knowledge and practical testing, and to make test standards more adaptable to rapid changes in cockpit technology.
