Title:
Using Battery Powered Tools On Aircraft And Rebuilding Your Aircraft
Topic:
Cordless Electric Tools, What, When, Why and How. and So You Want To Rebuild Your Certificated Aircraft.
Date and Time:
Wednesday, January 16, 2019, starting at 18:30 Eastern Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Mike Everhart
Brief Description:

The use of cordless tools on an aircraft can quickly turn into a disaster. Fuel and paint fumes are extremely flammable around aircraft and we usually do not think about battery powered tools not being  explosion proof. We all use the handy tools but do we think about the most obvious safety related issue? Let's talk all about the use of the tools on aircraft.

If you are rebuilding your certificated aircraft find out what regulations and responsibilities you are faced with. We will cover regulations and maintenance tips about your aircraft and how to keep good records and work in supervision with your favorite mechanic/IA. Bring all your questions for a very informative meeting. .
