Good pilots are always learning. The unfortunate accidents that do occur leave behind opportunities for us to learn and should not be wasted.  

 

Join Michael Huhn, an Air Safety Investigator for the NTSB, as he will present cases and the lessons learned  This will be a great opportunity and privilege to hear information from the source and a seminar you do not want to miss. Michael’s territory covers the entire western United States and he will be presenting cases from a variety of circumstances.

 

Michael has 24 years experience in aviation safety & accident investigation. He is currently an Air Safety Investigator for the NTSB.  He also has 13 years as Air Safety Investigator for the Air Line Pilots Assoc (ALPA) and a BS in Aeronautical Engineering with 15 years in engineering design, aerodynamics, and flight test positions including

o Douglas Aircraft (commercial airliners)

o Northrop Aircraft (F-18)

o Rockwell International (Space Shuttle)

He is an instrument rated Private Pilot who Own & operates a Cessna 182 and holds a Mechanic certificate with an A&P rating.

Michael will also be speaking at the Bayflight 2018 conference on 10.27.18 at which time he will focus on bay area mishaps.

 

This event qualifies for FAA Wings credit.

Directions to Room: Pilots who fly in should park in transient parking on the opposite side of the field and expect to walk about 10 minutes (.5 mile) to the Flight Center. Suite 215 is upstairs in the northwest corner. On occasion, rides may be prearranged through San Carlos Aviation and Supply.
