Title:
SRM - A Critical Set of Pilot Skills

Single-Pilot Resource Management, Risk Management, and Various Other Skills
Date and Time:
Saturday, September 15, 2018, starting at 09:00 Mountain Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Robert A. Wright, President of Wright Aviation Solutions LLC
Brief Description:

The FAA now requires pilots to demonstrate competency in risk management on practical tests for most airman certificates and ratings. Risk management is one of the skills that comprise Single-Pilot Resource Management, along with task and workload management, automation management, and situational awareness. These important skills are critical for pilots and essential for safe operation in the National Airspace System. This seminar will survey the main elements of these skills and provide a case study, as well as a video, 'Alone in the Cockpit.' The 3 hour seminar is sponsored by TrainingPort.net, a producer of on-line training courses, and conducted by Robert Wright, a retired FAA executive and leading exponent of risk management proficiency. It will be held during the Open House of Independence Aviation in one of their Willowbrook Hangars.  You must be present at the beginning, middle, and end to receive Wings credit.
