Brief Description:
Our speaker, Paul Marshall, has volunteered in the last few years, as a pilot and plane owner with Liga International, a non-profit organization which operates medical clinics in Mexico through the volunteer services of pilots and medical professionals. We will be briefed on the essentials for GA pilots to plan flights, clear customs, navigate, communicate with ATC, and to safely use Mexican airports.
We will learn about Liga International's procedures and operations, pilot qualification requirements, location of their clinics, scheduling of flights, and other details.
Paul is an instrument rated private pilot and owner of a A36 Bonanza. He is the leader of the Disaster Airlift Response Team for Cal Pilots at E16. Previously, he worked in high tech for 30 years in the Silicon Valley.
