NATIONAL AIRSPACE SYSTEM CHANGES The main references for changes to the National Airspace System (NAS) are the Aeronautical Charts and the Chart Supplements. Most changes to the NAS meeting NOTAM criteria are known sufficiently in advance to be carried in these publications. When this cannot be done, changes are carried in the Notices to Airmen publication (NTAP) and/or the Service A telecommunications system as a NOTAM D item

This seminar will be a hands on explorations of our NOTAM System so that participants will really be able to arm themselves with the latest and most accurate NAS data needed for safe flights.

Moderated by Ron Berinstein, CFII & FAA Wings Master Pilot Recipient - aerobatic pilot - FAASTeam VNY Representative

Sponsored by Mend Aviation

Reserve online here for reservations, and kindly remember to cancel if your plans should change (you can use the same page that you reserved with).

Note:
Pilot airspace deviations continue to be a major risk in the national airspace system.  To reduce the chance that you might be involved in an airspace deviation incident, you are highly encouraged to take an on-line learning center course on http://www.faasafety.gov/.  Or search the learning library for associated guidance on airspace incursions.  Remember, safe and prudent airmen have superior situational awareness, and have a plan to keep it that way.

Thanks!  A message from your local FAASTeam.
