Brief Description:

A change to the San Francisco (SFO) Class Bravo airspace will go into effect on August 16, 2018 (https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2018/06/08/2018-12304/amendment-of-class-b-airspace-san-francisco-ca). This presentation will review the changes. The information will be useful to all pilots who fly in the Bay Area. There will be time for Questions and Answers.

Seminar will be held in the lobby of the Reid-Hillview Airport Terminal building. From Highway 680, exit onto Capital Expressway. Travel Southeast on Capital Expressway. At Cunningham Ave. turn Right. Reid-Hillview Terminal building is straight ahead then slightly left.

Michael Seko was hired in 1988 into Oakland Center and worked the northern area, including Napa, Santa Rosa, Redding and Chico until 1996. He Transferred to Bay Approach in 1996 and worked there until it merged with Norcal Approach in 2001. He took 8 ½ years off in the private sector and returned to NorCal Approach in 2010, working the Southwest airspace, including South Bay from San Carlos South, down to Big Sur. In May 2017 he took a position in the Airspace and Procedures office as a Specialist, primarily responsible for Obstruction Evaluation, Minimum Vectoring Altitudes, Airspace Modifications, UAS operations and NCT’s internal display systems.
