The first of two seminars at the Valley Aero Club Pilot Proficiency Day.

The Flight Review required by 14 CFR 61.56 is an opportunity for education and evaluation customized to the type of flying the pilot does, the types of aircraft the pilot flies, as well as the types of airspace within which the pilot flies.  It should focus on the risks particular to the types of flying the pilot does.

We’ll discuss suggested processes and best practices for the Flight Review both from an instructor’s standpoint and that of the pilot receiving the review.
