Title:
South Florida Tower and TRACON Operations and Procedures
Topic:
How to Successfully Navigate the South Florida Tower and TRACON Operations and Procedures
Date and Time:
Wednesday, April 25, 2018, starting at 18:30 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Nicholas Candelier
Brief Description:

With over 1,050,000 operations at MIA and FLL airports combined in 2017, our goal is to create a team oriented experience whether you’re talking to a controller for flight following, or flying around on your own.

This seminar will include topics such as:

  • A look inside Miami TRACON and understanding what a controller sees;

  • Traffic flows into and out of the South Florida area,

  • How to benefit from the services available,

  • Understanding why controllers ask you to do what you do,

  • And most importantly, a question and answer session.

No matter your level of expertise (general aviation pilot's, airline and corporate pilot's, flight instructors, student pilot's, and enthusiasts), everyone can play a part in creating a safer sky to fly in.
