Today's airspace is not our grandfather's or even our fathers.  Just recently over 100 new procedures were introduced into our So Cal Metroplex area.  Electronic flight bags have replaced the old stereotypical big cumbersome pilot flight boxes with handles that stored our charts, plotters, E6Bs, and our leather bound (with our names embossed in gold) Jepp charts.

Whether the chart is displayed on an app or printed on paper, we still need to understand the symbols and the data.  This seminar reviews that, and a tower/enroute control presentation will be included as well. Intended for the GA Pilot who wants to make sure everything is dusted off and still shines.

Sponsored by Mend Aviation and Santa Monica College

Reserve online here for reservations, and kindly remember to cancel if your plans should change (you can use the same page that you reserved with).

PRE SEMINAR AVIATION VIDEOS BEGIN AT 6:30 PM    YOU ARE INVITED!

Note:
Pilot airspace deviations continue to be a major risk in the national airspace system.  To reduce the chance that you might be involved in an airspace deviation incident, you are highly encouraged to take an on-line learning center course on http://www.faasafety.gov/.  Or search the learning library for associated guidance on airspace incursions.  Remember, safe and prudent airmen have superior situational awareness, and have a plan to keep it that way.

Thanks!  A message from your local FAASTeam.
