Title:
Northeast Florida Regional Airport - Runway Safety Action Team (RSAT)
Topic:
Improving Surface Safety at SGJ Airport via Runway Safety Action Team (RSAT) Discussion Meeting.
Date and Time:
Wednesday, February 21, 2018, starting at 10:00 Eastern Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Tammy Albin, Air Traffic Manager
Brief Description:

The purpose of the RSAT meeting is to educate airport users and to identify/address any existing or potential runway safety issues specific to Northeast Florida Regional Airport.  Input from individuals and organizations that are actively involved in the day-to-day operations at the airport, both in the air and on the ground, is highly encouraged.  We welcome participation from all the major airport interests; including tenants, the fixed base operator and airport operations/maintenance personnel.  Participants are asked to make recommendations and assist in the development of solutions that will enhance runway safety for all concerned.  Those recommendations serve as the foundation for our Runway Safety Action Plan.  Each and every airport user is key to runway safety.  With this in mind, we invite you to join us.
