Title:
Monthly meeting of the Columbus Chapter EAA IMC Club (Mastering the Art of Instrument Navigation)
Topic:
Instrument instructors and aviators share indelible IFR/IMC 'lessons.'
Date and Time:
Wednesday, December 13, 2017, starting at 19:00 Eastern Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Tom Baxter, Alex Bettinger, Mike Carr, Paul Palmisciano, Kathy Samuelson, Mike Stretanski, Dick Wetherald, Tim Heron
Brief Description:

Every flight provides the basis for a “lesson.” Some lessons are transitory; others leave an indelible impression as the “lesson” permanently changes the way we approach future flights. Our panel of distinguished instrument aviators and instructors will share their unforgettable experiences by detailing the circumstances of “their lesson,” stating how the lesson affected their future flights, and offering recommendations to incorporate into our standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safer flight.
