Brief Description:
FAASTeam Representative training is extremely important. During FAASTeam Representative Training topics are covered that provide training on all of the FAASTeam Representative's general activities. We will have special emphasis at this training session covering - How to identify hazards or unsafe conditions with regard to airports and the NAS and make appropriate notifications, how to effectively counsel airmen using a variety of methods, including one-on-one meetings and large educational events, and how to serve as a liaison between the FAASTeam and other organizations. There will also be presentations on airworthiness topics, human factors and professionalism.
The Little Rock FSDO Manager, Karen Gattis, will be in attendance. This will be a great opportunity to come meet and visit with her.
