Title:
Human Factors in Aviation Accidents

Human Factors
Date and Time:
Monday, February 5, 2018, starting at 18:30 Central Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Jack Blackshear, MD
Brief Description:

Jack Blackshear, MD (see Bio listed below) will cover Human Factors in Aviation Accidents.  It is a sad fact that general aviation accidents occur too often, with awful outcomes.  Is it complacency? Distraction? Lack of training or practice?  As a Naval Flight Surgeon I took a closer look at human factors in aviation accidents.  Although highly trained and motivated even the best military pilots can make mistakes.  Dr. Blackshear will focus on a few cases that impressed upon him almost 50 years ago.  You don't want to miss this!  Register today.
