Brief Description:

Believing that safety and proficiency are developed through education and experience. Monthly meetings use real world scenarios to engage our members and allow them to share and build their experience.

For the December meeting, we will discuss an actual scenario involving an IFR planned flight from Chicago, IL (KPWK), to Atlanta, GA. However shortly after crossing the Louisville VOR you find yourself in a glider in IMC conditions. Please bring your “Electronic Flight Bag” if you have one (ForeFlight, Garmin Pilot, WingX, Go Flight, etc.) loaded with charts for the area to aid in the discussion of the pilots options.

You do not need to be a member or instrument rated to attend.

NOTE: There will be no January meeting. The next meeting in 2018 will be in February.
