Area Forecasts (FAs) are going away and being replaced with the Graphical Forecast for Aviation (GFA). This presentation will look at how to use the GFA in your flight planning process and how to get a documented forecast briefing that satisfies the FAA requirement to get a weather briefing for your planned flight and a forecast for your destination if your destination airport does not have a Terminal Area Forecast (TAF).
