Additional Event Information & Acknowledgement of Industry Sponsor(s):

Mike Evangelista learned to fly during the winter at historic Hanscom Field in Massachusetts, now maybe the largest GA airport in New England, but J3s still tie down there, though they share the runways with Gulfstream Vs.

Professionally, he's a long time Tower Pro with years of LA AREA Airport knowledge having been stationed at Burbank, Santa Monica, El Monte, and currently at Whiteman.

Because Mike's a pilot, he knows the kind of information that Pilots Need To Know to be Aware of while flying in the LA Basin.  Local Wind Conditions, Airport Patterns, Approaches and Departures, clearance procedures, and Incursion avoidance advice, are just some of the topics you can ask about.

This is a great opportunity to meet one on one in a casual atmosphere and hear Mike Mike draw upon his vast library of avaiation stories, and of course learn more about how to fly safe locally.

You are invited to join us for our Aviation Video "Pre-Show" Game! We begin at 6:30 pm when the doors open.

Space is Limited--You can reserve here online or contact Richard Mend prior to the event by TELEPHONE @ (818) 636-1021 or Email - mendaviation@sbcglobal.net for reservations.

Sponsored by: Mend Aviation and CAP 35

Note:  Pilot airspace deviations continue to be a major risk in the national airspace system.  To reduce the chance that you might be involved in an airspace deviation incident, you are highly encouraged to take an on-line learning center course on www.faasafety.gov.  Or search the learning library for associated guidance on airspace incursions.  Remember, safe and prudent airmen have superior situational awareness, and have a plan to keep it that way.

Thanks!  A message from your local FAASTeam.
