Brief Description:

We have a very special guest at this month's Nashville IMC Club meeting!  

Radek Wyrzykowski, the original founder of the IMC Club, and now the Manager of Flight Proficiency with the EAA, will be joining us and leading this month's IMC Scenario!  We're excited to have Radek come to our meeting, so let's set another attendance record and welcome him Tennessee-style!

The May, 2017, meeting of the Nashville IMC Club will be on Tuesday, May 30th, 7:00pm, at Nashville International Airport (KBNA).  The meetings are in the Gassaway Building, located at 612 Hangar Lane, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Scenario details:  It's fairly straight-forward to successfully navigate through sparsely occupied airspace.  But what happens when you take a trip through the very busy and unfamiliar northeastern sector, and the approach your planned suddenly makes no sense?  ATC is rapidly getting frustrated with you, and you only have seconds to make the right decision!

FAA WINGS credits will be awarded to pilots that register on the FAA Safety website and attend the meeting.

The monthly IMC Club meetings use real-world scenarios to engage members and allow them to share and build their instrument experience. During these meetings, an instrument meteorological conditions flying scenario is presented, followed by a group discussion of the situation. Various ideas for dealing with the scenario are explored, and multiple solutions are considered. You will be challenged, and your instrument flying knowledge will be improved as we continue to learn from each other. It's this structured group problem-solving environment and discussion that allows us all to become better instrument-rated pilots, and it's what makes the Nashville IMC Club one of the region's most popular and well-attended aviation seminars!
