Brief Description:

Loss of Control (LOC) is one of the largest contributors to aircraft fatal accidents worldwide. Aircraft LOC is complex, in that it can result from numerous casual and contributing factors acting alone or in combination.

LOC accidents happen in both VFR and IMC conditions, day or night and are not limited to inexperienced or VFR only pilots. This seminar will explore some of the factors that can lead to loss-of-control and will provide some practical steps that can be taken by pilots to help avoid LOC. Attendees will be welcomed to participate in this discussion.

A big thanks to our speaker: Shahir Salim - a pilot with more then 30,000 hours, he is a corporate pilot, flying Internationally between the U.S., South America, and Europe.Shahir is also a flight instructor. He has been a flight instructor since 1984, with more then 18,000 hours. Shahir has worked as an Airline pilot, flying B-727 and B-737, and has an engineering background.
