Topics for the Saturday, July 8, 2017 seminar are: Aviation weather hazard anticipation and avoidance, Understanding NWS forecasts, Tactical Decision Aids, and more!

Saturday's seminar also includes NWS, FAA, and FedEx Operations Tours.

Seminars will discuss new weather tools and satellite data for pilots and meteorologist, pilot weather safety, what ATC sees on radar compared to what meteorologists and pilots see, and how we can improve communication and education between the pilot, controller and weather communities.

Speakers include: Paul Suffern - NTSB meterologist, Gary Ellrod - satellite expert and developer of turbulence guidance tools, Amanda Martin - Aviation Weather Center, Shem Malmquist - FDX MD-11 Captain, Memphis ARTCC and Memphis Tower FAA REPS, FedEx Meteorology forecasters, NWS forecasters.
