Title:
Republic Airport Pilot / Controller Forum
Topic:
Communications at Republic Airport
Date and Time:
Tuesday, April 18, 2017, starting at 19:00 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
FRG Air Traffic Controllers & Supervisors, Ben Struck, FRG FAASTeam Program Manager
Brief Description:

Come and have a face to face with our local Air Traffic Controllers (ATC)! We communicate back and forth every day, but never truly connect. New pilots can ask for clarification on anything they don't fully understand. ATC can communicate any new changes coming down the pipe or issues that happen often with the local pilots.

This event will be a chance for pilots operating at Republic Airport to meet and talk with Air Traffic Controllers who handle the airspace at one of General Aviation's busiest airports.

Pilot Controller Forums are intended to improve the situational awareness of pilots and controllers, and help each to understand the other’s workload, and challenges.

We will discuss operations specific to Republic Airport.

You are encouraged to bring your questions and an open mind.
