Brief Description:
For every Bay Area pilot eager to stretch its wings beyond the boundaries of the Bay, the Lake Tahoe region and its main aiport at Truckee are a dream destination. The flight is however fraught with many challenges beginning with the airport high elevation, the changing conditions associated with mountain flying and rubbing wings with the jets and gliders who also operate at Truckee.
In this seminar, Hardy Bullock, Director of Aviation & Community Services at Truckee Tahoe Airport District will share with us his knowledge and advice to make sure our experience flying to Lake Tahoe is a positive and safe one.
