SUN-n-FUN 2017 Safety Challenge - Project Preflight!

Brief Description:

Project Preflight is a traditional fan-favorite safety awareness program putting contestants' observational skills and knowledge of regulations to the test on an actual General Aviation aircraft with numerous intentional airworthiness flaws installed for contest purposes only.  List as many faults as you can detect in the time allotted and earn WINGS credit for trying it out!   You do not need to have intimate knowledge of the specific contest aircraft!  Contest winners will be posted daily by the aircraft.  Contest runs daily from 9 am til 3 pm. 

This is a live event only.  Free to enter!  WINGS credit available!

Directions to Venue:

The FAA Orlando Field Office (aka FAA Safety Center) is centrally located on the Sun-n-Fun grounds at the corner of Laird Drive and Sun-n-Fun Road.  Forums entrance is on the west side of the building.  Pre-registration highly encouraged!  Contest aircraft will be parked on the northeast lawn of the facility.

Contest aircaft graciously provided by SunState Aviation, Kissimmee, Florida, an FAR Part 141 Certificated Pilot School.

FAA forums in the OFO run daily from 8:30 a.m. til 2:00 p.m.; each is typically 1 hour long.
 
Adjacent FAA Exhibit Hall open daily from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

PRESENTED DURING THE SUN 'N FUN FLY-IN.  NO FEE FOR THE FORUM BUT AN ENTRANCE FEE IS REQUIRED BY SUN 'N FUN TO ENTER THE GROUNDS.
