Brief Description:
Boy Scouts of the Chimney Rock District and the local EAA Chapter1086 together will learn how to build and certificate their own aircraft they build for enjoyment and education. Building an aircraft is fun and gives you an experience you will never forget. You will be learn about aerodynamics, propulsion, communications, navigation and an introductory flight. All speakers and instructors are certificated pilots and/or mechanics and most are EAA members. They will also inform the Scout troops about using their skills to build on for a future in aviation as a pilot or aircraft maintenance technician. This is a closed event for EAA Chapter 1086.
