There are few who doubt that sUAV (Drone) commercial operations are here to stay.  The fact is Orlando and the surrounding areas are not easy to maneuver as a drone operator.  This complexity is leaving a lot of operators with many questions: How do I operate? Who gives me Authorization? What about the City of Orlando's ordinance? We plan to demystify some of these issues.  Most importantly, we plan to convey how to operate safely in this complex environment.

For additional and background information, please visit the Orlando Executive Airport FAASTeam Library web site: http://www.fsr-inc.org/FAAST/Seminar/Notice.aspx

Thanks to our speaker Alfonso Cartagena.  Alfonso, has been a pilot for many years and RC hobbyist.  In his professional life, Information Technology in Electronics Manufacturing and ERP has been his focus.  With the onset of the sUAV, he has worked on integrating his knowledge and love for IT and Aviation. He now operates sUAVs commercially in Central Florida and helps Administer and Moderate UAV social media pages.

Thanks also to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) for use of their new Administrative Offices, to FAASTeam Reps David Conrad and Lloyd Babb for refreshments and door prizes, to Jim Porter for set up and registration.
