This discussion will be led by Steve Mesner, Certied Flight Instructor and FAA Safety Representative. As a group we'll take an in depth review of FAA Advisory Circular 90-66C which outlines recommended procedures and best practices for pilots operating at non-towered airports. We'll look at the regulatory and right-of-way requirements at non-towered airports. We'll review the standard traffic pattern including pattern entry and exit procedures, as well as recommended communication practices, and procedures for varying types of aircraft, including ultra-lights. This will be an open discussion format for all to participate in.
