Navigating military airspace is a critical skill for general aviation pilots. Join us for an essential seminar featuring the controllers who manage F-16 fighter jet operations in South Florida. We will cover Homestead Air Reserve Base (ARB) flight operations, aircraft types, and what to expect when flying southbound to the Florida Keys or navigating northbound Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs). Attendees will learn vital mid-air collision avoidance strategies and gain a comprehensive understanding of military maneuvers in local airspace. Mr. Fernando Cornejo, the MACA (Mid-Air Collision Avoidance) representative for Homestead Air Force and air traffic controller for 24 years.

He is Air Traffic Control Specialist, and worked for the Navy, Army, Marines, Air Force, FAA, and contract towers with CI2 Aviation, RVA, and was an air traffic manager with Midwest. Fernando has been serving Homestead base for 8 years.
