Brief Description:
Kevin Spaulding is a highly experienced Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) based in Cadillac, MI, where he primarily serves the aviation community at Wexford County Airport (KCAD).
With an aviation career spanning over 4 decades, Spaulding has held his examiner designation since 1996. His professional background is distinguished by his dual experience as a commercial airline pilot for Midwest Airlines and a dedicated educator.
He holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and is a multi-rated Flight Instructor (CFI, CFII, and MEI), possessing a deep technical understanding of both single and multi-engine operations.
Maintaining a clean safety record throughout his extensive career, Spaulding emphasizes risk management and the meticulous use of checklists. He will share CFIT avoidance techniques all pilots need to know.
