Brief Description:

Join the North Charlotte FAA Safety Team for a CFI and pilot forum covering current aviation insurance considerations, local safety trends, operational lessons learned, and the June FAASTeam Topic of the Month: Hindsight Bias and Controlled Flight Into Terrain (CFIT).

Discussion will include how hindsight bias can affect accident review, pilot decision-making, and the ability to learn useful safety lessons before similar risks show up in our own flying.

FAASafety.gov, FAASTeam resources, and the WINGS Pilot Proficiency Program will be promoted. WINGS credit available.
