Title:
Squawking and Talking
Topic:
An Interactive Air Traffic Controller and Pilot Forum
Speaker(s):
Max Gurgew, Dustin Hodde, Danny Perez
Brief Description:
Join us as we analyze both sides of the "squawk/talk" communication link. We'll look deeper into miscommunications, review best communication practices, and discuss the vital transponder role, assessing responsibilities of the controller and pilot. A deeper look into the capabilities of the TRACON facility may provide options during normal and emergency situations. And of course we'll have an interactive Q&A session with a review of local airspace/airport updates and common issues.
