Brief Description:

On May 15,16,17 the Vero Beach Regional Airport will be hosting the Navy Blue Angels as part of the 2026 Airshow. Changes to the operation of the Airport which includes three air carriers and two major flight schools will result in a variety of changes to airport operations. This seminar will outline the timeline and extent of the adjustments in order to assure safety during the event.

The room is on the Airport. If an attendee is not badged for entrance through the secure gate he/she must be escorted by a badged person. The gate is behind Rosner Motorsports and can be accessed from Flight Safety Drive. If the gate is not maned please call 952.826.9707 for entrance.

The Treasure Coast FAA Safety Team is pleased to welcome the Vero Beach Regional Airport Director, Todd Scher. Todd has been director since 2020 and had an 18 yr career as a professional pilot flying as captain on a regional airline. Todd holds an ATP with three type ratings and has logged over 11,000 hrs. Todd has acted as the Airport Operations Liaison with the Air Show and is responsible for operational safety during Air Show activities.
