Heather Howley is a CFII with 19 years of instructional experience. She has been a FAA Designated Pilot Examiner for close to eleven years, and a FAASTeam Representative for ten years. She has over 10 thousand hours of flight time and is widely respected for her commitment to safety and pilot development.

Matt Taggard is a CFII with 13 years of instructional experience. He is also a FAA Designated Pilot Examiner who has been examining students for 3 years, and has been assisting the Albany FSDO as a FAASTeam Representative for 3 years. He has over 7 thousand hours of flight time in helicopters and has a strong focus on professionalism safety and mentoring.

Both Heather and Matt have worked together at Independent Helicopters for 13 years dedicating their careers to mentoring, training and developing the next generation of professional helicopter pilots.
